Volunteering is rewarding and fun, plus there is no greater gift than the gift of time. There are many opportunities for members to become more closely involved with the Friends. You're bound to enjoy the friendship and sense of achievement that stems from this voluntary work.

If you would like to help, become a Volunteer (MS Word - 93 kB) or call our office today. Volunteers do need to be Members of the Friends, so if you would like to volunteer and are not a member, join us today.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Friends are currently seeking volunteers to help organise and publicise the next biennial Art of Botanical Illustration exhibition due to be held in November 2012. If you are interested in the above position please call Virginia in the Friends' office.

Helping Hands
A wonderful opportunity to volunteer in the Gardens exists with our Helping Hands Group. The Friends are seeking volunteers to assist with the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of some areas of the RBG.
- The gardens at E Gate Lodge and Eastern Lodge are being maintained by the Helping Hands Group. Volunteers will be required on a weekday for half a day per fortnight from 8.00am to 12 noon.
- Hands-on maintenance gardening is available for members in the Plant Craft Cottage Garden. Please contact the Friends' office if you are interested.
