Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne Inc.

The Gardens has a large and growing number of Friends of Cranbourne. These Friends perform a number of vital activities within the gardens with the assistance of staff while having fun and enjoying each other's company.

Join the Friends

There are of course a number of sub groups within the Friends, including the Growing Friends, Plant Collectors Group and Walkers Club. All members are welcome to participate in any activity run by the Friends. If you are interested in joining the Friends please contact us via the Gardens on (03) 5990 2200.

The Gardens continues to grow as a popular venue for family picnics, walking, school excursions and school holiday programs. Enjoy the 360 degree view from Trig Point or a stroll through the bushland. Try spotting a Southern Brown Bandicoot, listen to the chorus of frogs, watch for some of the 160 bird species and the 400 species of indigenous plants.
