The Australian Garden celebrates the beauty and diversity of Australian flora, landscapes, art and architecture.
Explore the Australian Garden through creative visual art activities using a combination of natural and hand made tools and media. From drawing with found objects, to creating 2 and 3 dimensional sculptures, participants will gain inspiration from the gardens and other environmental artists for their art works.
Date Wednesday, 5 May 2010 Time 9.30 am - 3.00 pm (Please meet at the Visitor Centre, Australian Garden, Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne) Venue: Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, Corner of Ballarto Rd and Botanic Drive, Cranbourne (Melway Map 133, ref K10) Cost: $150.00 (Includes entry to the Australian Garden and morning tea) Catering: BYO Picnic lunch. Morning tea provided at the Boonerwurrung Cafe. Note Participants are asked to bring a digital camera, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses.
