Excursion information
An excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens offers an excellent opportunity for students of all ages to further their understanding of environmental and related issues in an attractive, safe and stimulating outdoor setting.
Strategic curriculum based programs have been developed by the Gardens' Education Service to assist teachers and provide an enjoyable and valuable learning experience for students from pre school to tertiary levels.
Each Education program:
- is designed to support teachers in achieving the Victorian Essential Learning Standards.
- is lead by a Royal Botanic Gardens Education Officer.
- provides for school groups at the Melbourne as well as the Cranbourne sites.
- can also be adapted to suit individual class needs.

Bus parking is available along Birdwood Ave
Individual 3 hour metered parking
Trams are available from St. Kilda Rd and Domain Rd.
Prices - domestic (per student including GST.)
All Programs $10.50
Minimum Charge is $189.00 for small groups.
