These are the references used for Fungi of Australia volumes 2A and 2B, with additions to November 2005.

Entries in black are those listed in Fungi of Australia volumes 2A and 2B, entries in red are later additions.

Entries in blue relate to discrepancies between the reference lists of Fungi of Australia volumes 2A and 2B. Occasionally a particular author+date reference as used in the bibliography for volume 2A (such as Cheel, 1907a) may relate to a different publication than in the bibliography of volume 2B. This is because the two volumes had different lists of references. In these cases, the entry in black is specific for taxa treated in volume 2A and the entry in blue (for the same author+date combination, but different publication) is specific for taxa treated in volume 2B. Also, sometimes the same publication was included in volume 2A with a different author+date+letter combination than in volume 2B.

Anomalies in referencing arising from discrepancies between the reference lists in volumes 2A and 2B are gradually being removed.

Fungi of Australia volume 2A treated the agaricoid and truffle-like Agaricales, Boletales, Cantharellales and Russulales and volume 2B covered all other macrofungal Basidiomycota, and macrofungal Myxomycota.
