Café and functions

The Boonerwurrung Café, with enticing views over the Australian Garden, offers delicious meals, as well as coffee, tea and light snacks. The delicious menu features native Australian ingredients to add flavour and style to favourites; such as paper-bark smoked salmon with herbed mayo and salad greens.

The Café is open from 9am to 5pm.  Call 5990 2247 for café information.

Functions at the Australian Garden

The Café and other areas within the Australian Garden are available for functions.  For bookings and more information contact Blakes Feast, +61 3 9252 2443 or rbg@blakesfeast.com.au.

At night, the Boonerwurrung Cafe will host showcase dinners featuring local produce and guest speakers and if you are interested in hosting your own private event this can easily be arranged. The Boonerwurrung Cafe is the perfect venue for an engagement or birthday party, wedding reception or company dinner. Inside, the cafe can accomodate 75 people for a sit-down dinner, or 100 for a cocktail style event.

Marquee Events: We can also offer you the opportunity to book in an evening marquee function in the Australian Garden itself. Catering for between 80 & 250 people for a sit-down dinner, this site is spectacular and is beautifully complimented by our restaurant quality food.

Wedding Ceremonies in the Australian Garden are available exclusively to one couple per day. Guests arrive late in the day when the last of the general public are leaving, which provides an atmosphere of privacy and serenity. The ceremony will be held under the shelter of the Rockpool Pavilion, with views through the landscaped garden.
